New Mini-Catalogs

We've just introduced two brand new mini-catalogs into the CLL literature resources for contractors. The Environmental Masters and the Fusion Series present a new look at some of the most popular fixture styles available today.

The Environmental Masters offer a variety of fixtures made predominately of brass and copper. This collection of several different manufacturers is ideal for locations with difficult environmental conditions. Not to be limited, they can just as easily be used anywhere a quality fixture is needed.

Beneath the cover of the Fusion Collection is a grouping of some of the most widely utilized fixtures found at a single source. The fusion of several manufacturers gives the lighting specifier the choice of different materials and designs needed for most projects.

These catalogs are available at no charge along with a special net price list by request.

LED Website

Hadco Lighting just launched a brand new Website dedicated to the LED products they manufacture. This comprehensive site includes sections on the history of LED's basics for design and FAQ's about LED lighting. By visiting WWW.Hadcoled.com you will have additional resources available to you on LED landscape lighting, post lighting and even custom street lighting.

Nightscaping up and running

As of March 30th, Nightscaping again began full manufacturing and shipping operations. In the last issue of the on-line Lite-Tips it was reported that Nightscaping had temporarily closed for reorganization. This procedure has been completed and we are now taking orders, receiving and shipping Nightscaping products once again. This reopening is great news to everyone involved both at the factory and in the landscape lighting industry in general.

What's new in LED's

One of the most rapidly growing segments of the landscape lighting industry is the introduction of new LED products. Several of our manufacturers are on the leading edge of the trend. Whenever possible we want to alert our contractor base about these new products so you are aware of every new development and sales tool available to the lighting contractor.

Literature:
New for 2009 both Kim Lighting and Hadco Lighting have introduced independent catalogs to promote their lines of LED products. Each of these catalogs contains fixture images, specifications and technical data about light emitting diodes. In the Kichler Lighting 2009 complete product catalog you'll find over 20 different LED fixtures including 8 new models for 2009. This selection may give the specifier the widest variety of LED options available anywhere.

Fixture's:
Each manufacturer that produces LED integrated fixtures has continued to expand the variety and styles of fixtures they offer. The overall goal is to be able to design and install LED systems with the same effect and performance as that of a typical low voltage lighting system.

Retrofit:
To go along with fixtures that contain built-in LED circuit boards and components another segment of the industry is introducing LED lamps that retrofit into existing landscape lighting fixtures. Lamps have been developed to replace the 12 volt bi-pin, MR16, Wedge Base and PAR36 lamps. For those contractors who prefer 120 volt systems they have also engineered LED lamps to replace the PAR series as well.

Our office continues to obtain and organize information from all our sources concerning the latest in LED lighting. If you have a specific need or would like to learn more about what type of products are now available contact our office.
